Adam Woodyatts ex-wife Bev hopes hell reflect on how he treated her on Im A Celeb

Adam Woodyatt's ex-wife Beverley Sharp is reportedly hoping he'll use his time on I'm A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! to "reflect" on their soured marriage.

The EastEnders star, 53, split from wife Beverley in 2019 after 22 years of marriage. The estranged husband and wife are said to be yet to agree on a divorce deal.

And since parting ways, it's been said that Bev has been financially "struggling" and relying on food parcels by "worried family" while Adam has signed up for this year's Ant and Dec fronted ITV series following a "bumper pay deal".

It has now been reported that Beverley is hoping his time eating "rice and beans" will make him think of her after he "walked out on her" despite "supporting" him for years.

A source has now told The Sun: "I think it's inevitable he'll end up getting picked for lots of trials, and I wouldn't blame Bev if she had his number on speed dial after all the pain and upset he's put her through.

"She is quite likely to be one of those voting for him, and I don't think she will be alone in that.

The source added: "But on a serious note, I hope his time in the castle will give him time to reflect on how he's treated Bev."

OK! has contacted representatives for Adam for further comment.

This comes following claims that Bev has "really been struggling" after she was snapped holding reduced-price food after a recent shopping trip.

Bev, who married the Ian Beale actor in 1998, is reported to have also been given food parcels by "worried family".

An onlooker told The Sun that she "looked a bit down on her luck and alone".

The publication reports that Adam is believed to be making interim maintenance payments to Bev.

It comes after reports that Adam has signed up for this year's I'm A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!, taking place in Gwrych Castle in north Wales.

Adam took some time away from the soap earlier this year and previously revealed his character won't be returning to Albert Square until 2022, giving him ample opportunity to head to the Welsh castle.

Bosses of the gruelling ITV show are said to be "thrilled" that Adam has signed up.
