Dionne Warwick has announced that she plans to join Chance the Rapper in the studio “very, very soon.”
In a video posted to Twitter, the 80-year-old singer revealed that the pair are working on a new song titled “Nothing’s Impossible,” the proceeds from which will benefit two charities.
Warwick spoke at length about the charities whom the song will benefit, namely SocialWorks,” a Chicago-based nonprofit founded by Chance, which seeks to “empower the youth through the arts, education, and civic engagement,” and “Hunger: Not Impossible,” a text-based service that connects kids and families in need with prepaid, nutritious, to-go meals from nearby restaurants.”
“We’re going to try to do some wonderful things for people that are desperately in need,” Warwick shared. “So keep your eyes and ears open, because we’re getting in that studio soon and we’re going to give you something that you cannot resist. OK?!”
