On Saturday night, Strictly Come Dancing stars AJ Odudu, 34, and Kai Widdrington, 26, sparked further romance rumours following their intimate couples’ choice routine. The presenter has previously claimed the pair were just acting in their routines, but seemingly went back on her word last night.
In response to a fan, she gave a cryptic response by claiming there was “no acting”.
A Twitter user named Fifer wrote: “@AJOdudu is it unhealthy that I’m so happy you liked my comments!?!?!!
“You & Kai have lifted my depression – something lovely to focus on. Even if you’re just acting it’s wonderful.”
AJ replied: “We love your kind words! No acting there.”
The fan added: “Lifts my heart then. Beautiful to see you together.
“Thankyou for taking time to reply. Means a lot x.”
The presenter also liked a tweet which read: “Flipping love @AJOdudu what a top girl! Such a great attitude & lovely personality. I hope she is getting it on with Kai cos she deserves it! #StrictlyComeDancing #Strictly #Strictlycatchup.”
AJ and Kai have laughed off romance rumours in the past, but haven’t denied it.
Rumours first emerged following their raunchy American smooth to I Have Nothing by Whitney Houston from The Bodyguard as part of movie week.
AJ took on the role of the film’s Rachel Marron (played by Whitney Houston) while Kai took on Kevin Costner’s character Frank Farmer.
In the movie, they famously fall in love after he saves her life on several occasions.
At the end of their routine, the dancing duo hugged and Kai was heard telling AJ he loved her.

The pair were later quizzed about the moment by Rylan Clark on Strictly: It Takes Two.
At first, the duo laughed and appeared awkward, before Kai went on to say: “Well, look. We said this right, and I said this to [AJ], if people react like this then it means we are doing something right, because that is the way the dance should be danced.”
He went on to say they wanted to do the “passionate, fiery and intimate” dance justice.
“If people want to think that, then great but we are just doing our jobs, she was doing her job,” he added.
AJ was also asked about the rumours on Zoe Ball’s BBC Radio 2 Breakfast show.
At first, she giggled at the host’s question and gave no answer.
The BBC presenter then exclaimed: “She’s giggling nervously, that’s a good sign!”
The Strictly star went on to say: “You know, I was in character at that moment on the dance floor this week.
“I was playing Rachel, he was playing Frank, they were in love.”
