The Dead Daises Release New Single ‘Unspoken’

The Dead Daises have released an official lyric video for their new song “Unspoken,” a single from their upcoming fifth album, Holy Ground.

“Unspoken” is the second song to be released from the album after the release of “Righteous Days” last year. Holy Ground is set to drop later this year via Spinefarm Records. The album is a follow-up to 2018’s Burn It Down.

The current lineup of Dead Daises features former Whitesnake guitarist Doug Aldrich, guitarist David Lowy and ex-Journey drummer Deen Castronovo.

“I wrote the chorus while driving into Hollywood. I pulled over, turned on my iPhone and recorded the chorus. I transported myself back to 1972 just for a moment. The intro is the theme of the song.
It’s bombastic, primeval and haunting. This song is about letting go, getting past the fear, and to breathe again,” former Black Sabbath and Deep Purple member Glenn Hughes said.

Hughes joined Dead Daises last year after the departures of John Corabi and Marco Mendoza. Holy Ground is the first album to feature Hughes.
