Alt-Rock singer Yungblud recently shared the entire recording of one of the most momentous nights of his entire career – his 17-song headlining set at the O2 Academy Brixton on November 21, 2019.
The 22-year-old singer, who has utilized his time under COVID-19 lockdown to regularly livestream performances for his fans across the world, took to YouTube on Monday to release the 90-minute set that he performed at the O2 Academy late last year in front of nearly 5,000 fans.
“I was getting so frustrated that I can’t play a show and connect to my fan base,” the singer explained in a recent statement. “We were brainstorming ideas, and I remembered we had a bunch of people filming the Brixton show, so my team stayed up for a couple days editing it together.”
“If we can’t go to a live show, I’m gonna bring one to them,” he added. “This was one of the best nights of my life. A night that I wanted to relive with my fans once again.”
The set includes such fan-favorites as “I Love You, Will You Marry Me,” “Anarchist,” “Kill Somebody,” and his collaborative track with Machine Gull Kelly, “I Think I’m OKAY.”
