Iconic singer-songwriter Adele has announced a new single – Easy On Me – which will release on October 15.
The Hello hitmaker took to social media on Tuesday to post a teaser clip for the release, showing her in a monochrome video travelling in a car, while piano music plays above it.
She can first be seen inserting a cassette tape into the car's stereo before it moves off.
Sheet music then trails out of the car window in the breeze before the screen fades to black, leaving only the title of the track and release date in capital letters.
She simply captioned the post on Instagram: "Easy On Me – October 15."
Fans quickly flooded to the comments section, with one writing "HELLO VIBES!"
Someone else penned: "Queen!"
It comes after a whopping six-year hiatus for the singer-songwriter, with her last album release being 25 back in 2015.
Adele's fans claimed she was responsible for 'breaking the Internet' on Monday, as she subtly changed her social media profiles – leading them to think she was about to drop an album.
Observant enthusiasts noticed that the star's background colour on Twitter and Instagram now match with a series of '30' billboards that stormed across the world last week.
And, in a moment of kismet, it was around the same time the globe experienced technical issues with Facebook, WhatsApp and Instagram all down.
Flocking to her social media pages, one fan posted: "Okay Adele good but the real question is are we getting an album now!"
Another followed up: "Where's the album sis????"
