Everything MAFS UKs Kasia knows about Kwames real life as he stays secretive on show

Since returning to our screens,Married At First Sight UK has been filled with drama, thanks to its explosive dinner parties and shock recouplings.

But while the contestants on the show bravely wear their hearts on their sleeves in a bid to make a success of marrying a stranger, not all those on the show have been as open when it comes to getting to know their new spouse.

In fact, on Thursday’s episode, fans were left confused as Kwame Badu refused to let his new wife Kasia into his home and instead opted for a local park.

Justifying the decision, 42 year oldKwame said that he was “private” and “secretive” and didn’t “feel comfortable” showing Kasia, 36, around his property.

So, with that in mind, what exactly do we, and Kasia, know about “secretive” Kwame? Let’s take a peek…

According to his Instagram bio, Kwame wears many hats and is a talk show host, public speaker and entrepreneur.

Prior to entering the E4 experiment, Kwami regularly used his Instagram page to keep his followers updated on his career and shared clips of himself hosting his College Bros podcast and giving motivational speeches at various events.

But away from his career, London-based Kwame is a doting dad and often gushes about his two daughters on social media.

Sharing a series of sweet snaps for Father’s Day earlier this year, he wrote: “#happyfathersday to all the #dads #fathers (and Kweens who need to play dad too sometimes) the #stepdads who love their wife/wifeys kids like their own and the Kings who raised us to be better men than them

“This day is for you [heart emoji]”.

Meanwhile, Kwame said that he has been married in the past, though turned to the popular reality show to find his forever match. Speaking to Channel 4, he said: “It's not just a match…it's a wife”.

Despite his confidence, Kwami hasn’t always been so self-assured and only grew his self-esteem while at college when he bulked up and later won Mr Ghana in 2000.

And while there’s a lot that we do know about the TV personality, there’s also a lot that we don’t.

While other contestants were surrounded by the family on their wedding days, and were seen giving their opinions of their loved-one’s decision to marry a stranger, Kwami’s family were notably absent from the beginning and from the big day itself.

Married At First Sight airs on E4 Monday to Thursday at 9pm.
