Kim Kardashian is claimed to have been left feeling "disturbed" after Caitlyn Jenner took to Twitter to air her views on prison reform.
The 71-year-old former Olympian warned "dangerous criminals" were being released to the streets of California.
Her tweet lands after it was unveiled that Caitlyn is planning to throw her hat into the ring to become Governor of California – much like actor Arnold Schwarzenegger did previously.
However, it appears that Kim and Caitlyn share opposing views on the matter of prison reform with Kanye West's soon-to-be ex-wife strongly favouring rehabilitation over retribution.
According to TMZ, Kim is "not happy" at all about the recent tweet from Caitlyn.
Caitlyn's tweet read: "This is horrible and also avoidable. Gavin's District Attorneys across California are releasing dangerous criminals back on to our streets. Enough is enough. #RecallGavin."
The publication claims that Kim has her own strong views on the matter, believing that Caitlyn's approach will "hurt communities because it uses more of taxpayer's money and does not address the reasons why people commit crime in the first place".
The same news outlet also reported that the Kardashian clan would not be attempting to publicly endorse Caitlyn as she strives to become governor.
TMZ reported that Caitlyn's son's Burt, Brandy and Brody Jenner were all not keen on the idea of her running for a seat.
Although the former Olympian has been backed by an array of celebrities she has seemingly been snubbed by her own family who feel she is not "qualified" for the job.
It has been alleged that her three sons have even approached her over fears for safety amid the campaign.
Daily Star has contacted representatives for Kim and Caitlyn for further comment.
