There are some celebrities who change up their hair colour so regularly that it’s not that much of a surprise when they step out with a new hue.
Others, however, have cemented their trademark shade during their time in the spotlight to the point that a new hair colour really makes an impact – like Love Island season 4 star Laura Anderson, who has pretty much always been a blonde during her time in the public eye.
So when the 33 year old took to Instagram to experiment with a variety of hair colours, you can bet her fans had something to say about it. As part of an ad post showing off her six-piece nail collection with SOSU Cosmetics, Laura flitted from her usual blonde hair to bubblegum pink, strawberry blonde and a bold berry-toned shade in the new Instagram Reel.
Though the styles were probably created using wigs or filters, fans were delighted to see so many different looks at once on Laura, flocking to the comments section of her grid post to tell her how much they loved all of the different shades.
"Omg those pink and purple actually look awesome on you! Especially the pink! You should so do it. I wish I could pull it off," one fan exclaimed.
"You look absolutely amazing in all those shades of hair," a second fan agreed, as a third fan chimed in with, "Gosh that final strawberry blonde type colour really suits you."
Meanwhile a fourth said of the strawberry blonde shade, "You look like Kylie Minogue in no. 5" – and we have to admit, we can kind of see what they mean.
It comes just a few months after Laura ditched her extensions in favour of a bouncy bob that she admitted was inspired by Nicole Scherzinger’s recent hair transformation.
In the clip, which quickly racked up thousands of likes, Laura can be seen tugging on her hair extensions to the beat of a song, before the video cuts to her new, shorter locks.
The star looked sensational as her poker straight tresses were quickly changed into a chic shoulder-length bob styled with a bouncy blow dry.
Laura captioned the post, “I did it,” before adding that she was inspired to go for the chop after seeing Pussycat Doll Nicole create a similar video just the week before. “Inspired by the Sherzy,” she added alongside a wink-face emoji.
Who knows, maybe Laura’s next move will be to make pink hair a more permanent measure?
