    GOOD MORNING MAN UTD FANS

Meanwhile, United have opened talks with Paul Pogba's representatives over a new contract.

According to Sky Sports, the Manchester giants are keen on holding on to Pogba with a fresh deal.

The star midfielder's contract with the Red Devils expires next June and therefore he will be allowed to negotiate with clubs outside the Premier League from January.

The France international is currently gearing up for Euro 2020 ahead of today’s kick-off.

At the same time, Harry Maguire has returned to England training on the eve of Euro 2020 and has given the Three Lions a major boost before their tournament opener.

Maguire joined up with the rest of the team for practice as he continues his recovery from an ankle ligament injury.

The centre-back missed United's Europa League Final against Villarreal, who won on penalties, due to his ongoing issue.

However, the 28-year-old has handed Southgate a significant injury boost ahead of Sunday's opener with Croatia.

And finally, the 2021-2022 Premier League fixtures list will be revealed in full on Wednesday, June 16 at 9am.

United will be looking to exceed this past campaign's finish as they made it to second place.

That was the Red Devils' best tally under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.

The Manchester giants' performance saw them making it back to next season's Champions League.

    POGBA DISAPPOINTMENT

Manchester United great Roy Keane admits he is "disappointed" with Paul Pogba because he hasn't made the club "much better or the players around him better".

Keane told SkyBet: "I like Paul as a player, simple as that. From what I hear, he's a pretty decent human being, a good character.

"Slightly different in the way he leads his life, but he's a talented boy.

"Again the one thing I'm disappointed with is, I don't think he's made Man Utd that much better or the players around him better"

    NOT KEANE

Manchester United legend Roy Keane doesn't believe Tottenham star, and Red Devils transfer target, Harry Kane possesses the necessary traits to be the England captain.

Keane told SkyBet: "The only thing I'd hold against Kane – there's a big negative I have towards Kane.

"I think Kane is an amazing player. I think every club should be trying to sign him. Man United have got to sign him, I don't care if it's £120million – sign him.

"But I don't think he's a good leader. I never see him digging anyone out when he was at Spurs. I know people might go, 'Well that's not in his personality', or 'He might do it in the dressing room'. I don't think he does, and that's a big problem.

"OK, you can lead with your brilliant play, but sometimes I think I want to see another side to Kane.

"I'd love to see him get hold of somebody, and I'm on about Spurs – some players have been really poor or downing tools for certain managers. I never saw Kane digging them out. So that's my only hang-up with Kane as a leader and a captain"

    HE KAN GO

Tottenham legend Glenn Hoddle believes his former club may decide to cash in on Harry Kane but doesn't expect anyone to "cough up" £150million.

Hoddle told the Daily Mirror: “I don’t think anyone’s going to cough up £150million, I think they could cough up £100million plus two players, if it’s Manchester City, Manchester United, whoever.

“That deal isn’t an easy done and dusted deal when you’ve got three years left on your contract; he might still be at Tottenham.

“Then again, Tottenham may feel he’s 28 in the summer and might think, ‘We’ve got to cash in now’, because when he’s 29 and going to the World Cup [next year], they’re not going to have that kind of offer.

“As a Spurs man, I hope he doesn’t go, but if he does go, I wish him well”

    NEVILLE ADVICE

Manchester United legend Gary Neville insists his former club needs a new centre-back and either a striker or a right winger.

Neville said: "They definitely need a centre-back to go with Harry Maguire. Although I think the back four has done well, I think the defence has done well but they’re at an absolute maximum where they are.

"I think Aaron Wan-Bissaka is improving weekly and is getting better. I think if Luke Shaw can stay fit he’s the best and always has been in terms of talent.

"With Harry Maguire they’ve got someone who is incredibly reliable and can lead the team, I just think that another centre-back comes in and completes that back four.

"Up front is an issue. Over the last few years, we’ve never had a fixed right-winger, I think left’s okay with Marcus Rashford. You could argue is Mason Greenwood a right-winger?

"That’s the question is he a right winger or is he a centre forward? If he’s a centre-forward in the long term, Manchester United need a right-winger. If Mason Greenwood is a right-winger, they need a centre-forward."

    SUPER IDOL

Brighton star Ben White admits he looks up to Manchester United legend Rio Ferdinand, amid reports suggesting he is being targeted by the Red Devils.

White said during England's media day: "I think it is a little bit of everyone, trying to pick little bits out of each defender.

"Obviously watching the Premier League every week you can see the different types of players and pick different things out of each player.

"Rio Ferdinand, that was the one for me"

    LOT OF INTEREST

Manchester United ace Diogo Dalot could return to AC Milan on a permanent basis from Manchester United in the summer.

According to Football Italia, Milan are ready to meet United's release clause for the right-back.

However, Napoli have also been touted for a move over the 22-year-old Portuguese ace.

Dalot joined United from Porto in 2018 and has since amassed a mere 35 appearances

    BIG LEIP

RB Leipizg star Marcel Sabitzer wants to leave the Bundesliga club in the summer transfer window.

That is according to The Athletic, who claim Sabitzer is eager to move on.

The midfielder has been previously linked with a move to Manchester United.

The Austria international was also touted as an Arsenal target as manager Mikel Arteta is looking for a top midfielder to link up with Thomas Partey

    SANCHO REACTS

Borussia Dortmund star Jadon Sancho claims he doesn't pay attention to transfer rumours amid reports suggesting Manchester United are trying to sign him.

Sancho told talkSPORT: “I don’t really look at it [the speculation]. During the season, I always focus on myself & the team.

"That’s the most important thing we can do and every time I’m on the pitch I always give it my all, obviously trying to create what I do on the pitch and that’s with goals and assists. That’s what I really try to do, work hard for the team.

"[The noise] is part of the game. Fans are always going to be excited for major tournaments, so that’s normal. As a young kid growing up and watching these major tournaments, I was excited as well.

"All the lads should be excited, these tournaments don’t come around often, so you have to take your moment and when you do get your opportunity on the pitch, you have to take it"

    SANCHO BID REJECTED

Manchester United have had a £67million bid for Borussia Dortmund star Jadon Sancho rejected.

According to BBC Sport, Dortmund are demanding £77.5m for Sancho with an additional £4.25m bonus payment on top.

United also wanted to pay it over five years whereas the Bundesliga giants are only open to extending it to four.

The Red Devils are now considering whether to come back with a revised offer.

    GREAT SCOTT

Manchester City hero Joleon Lescott believes Manchester United ace Harry Maguire is very important for England as "the gap between his level and the other defenders is quite a lot".

Lescott told 101 Great Goals: "I think he is really important to be fair.

"I think the gap between his level and the other defenders is quite a lot. In terms of consistency, he’s up there with anyone in the league.

"He has an air of confidence that you should have when you play for a top team. He will also have a good partnership with Luke Shaw"

    SANCHO ALTERNATIVES

Manchester United have three alternative options in case they miss out on Borussia Dortmund star Jadon Sancho.

That is according to the Daily Express, who claim that United are keeping tabs on Barcelona ace Ousmane Dembele.

Chelsea winger Callum Hudson-Odoi has also been touted as a potential plan B.

The Red Devils are also considering a bid for club legend Cristiano Ronaldo, the same report suggests

Manchester United star Paul Pogba has confirmed he has had no contact with Paris Saint-Germain amid rumours he is being targeted by the French giants.

Pogba told RMC Sport: “I have a year left on the contract, everyone knows that.

"There have been no concrete extension proposals. I am still a Manchester United player.

"Contacts with PSG? I have an agent that deals with all that. I don’t have Al-Khelaifi’s number"

    VARANE BOOST

Real Madrid ace, and Manchester United transfer target, Raphael Varane's asking price has been dropped.

That is according to Mundo Dportivo, who claim that a bid of €50million (£43m) would be enough to land Varane.

That would cut down the defender's release clause by about £20m, which is a huge boost for United who are looking for the perfect man to partner up with Harry Maguire at centre-back.

Los Blancos are reportedly keen to cash in on the France international if he doesn't agree on a new deal as his contract expires next year

    NOT MESS-ING AROUND

David Beckham’s MLS team Inter Miami are very confident about landing Barcelona hero Lionel Messi in the summer.

SunSport understands Manchester United legend Beckham’s team can seriously see Messi coming to south Florida in two years time after talks with the Barca superstar.

The Argentina international is set to sign a new 10-year multi-role deal at the Nou Camp and will stay in LaLiga for two more years before moving to the US.

With Miami an attractive proposition, the 33 year-old fancies seeing out the rest of his playing days in the States before returning to Barcelona to take on an ambassadorial role

    SANCHO UPDATE

Manchester United continue negotiations with Borussia Dortmund over the transfer of Jadon Sancho.

That is according to Sky Sports, who claim there is still a gap in valuation but talks are said to be going "the right direction" with all parties more optimistic of getting a deal done this summer, compared to last year.

It is thought the release clause will be significantly less than the £108million Dortmund wanted last summer – largely because of the economic effects of the ongoing coronavirus pandemic and the fact Sancho is entering the final two years of his contract.

Personal terms not expected to be an issue after they were finalised when United tried to sign the England international last summer.
