Prince Harry posted a surprise message on what was supposed to be the opening day of his Invictus Games this year. From the comfort of his new home in Los Angeles, the Duke of Sussex shared his support for wounded veterans around the world and confessed that “life has changed dramatically” for everyone. The message came shortly after sources revealed where the Duke and Duchess of Sussex have been staying in LA for the past month.

Taking to the Invictus Games Foundation’s Twitter account, Harryshared a special message to commemorate VE Day. Harry scheduled this year’sInvictus Games to take place at The Hague in the Netherlands, but the event wascanceled due to the coronavirus pandemic.
The Duke of Sussex admitted that times are difficult and encouraged all of his listeners to stay in contact with each other. He also revealed that they will be holding virtual events to replace the games this year.
“Although we can’t be together in person, I’m really happythat there are plenty of virtual activities planned for this week and Iencourage you all to get involved, if you can, because you never know, it mightbe fun and a change from the norm,” Harry explained.
He went on to praise medical workers on the front line andrevealed that several competitors from this year’s event will be sharing theirstories about mental health struggles.
Harry started the Invictus Games back in 2014 to support military veterans who have been wounded in service to their country. The first event was held in London and each year features a different city.
Harry admits his life has changed ‘dramatically’
Harry’s video message came as a surprise to royal watchers. Harry has been keeping out of the spotlight ever since he moved to LA his wife, Meghan Markle, and son, Archie Harrison.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex officially departed the royalfamily starting on March 31 and have been under lockdown in LA during thecrisis. The couple was planning on launching their new charitable foundationupon their big move, but the lockdown has changed those plans.
During his video, Prince Harry admitted that life has“changed dramatically” for everyone across the world. But he wasquick to say that he is already planning on next year’s Invictus Games,assuming things return to normal by then.
“Life has changed dramatically for all of us since I waslast in The Hague, but the IG2020 team has done an incredible job to adapt soquickly to the situation and they are busy putting plans in place for nextyear. The new dates will be shared with you very soon,” he stated.
While Harry and Meghan, Duchess of Sussex, have been busy helping out during the pandemic, they are making business moves behind the scenes.
The Sussexes are looking to add a Hollywood pro to their team
Inside sources claim that Prince Harry and Meghan are trying tohire a professional to manage their busy schedules in LA. According to MarieClaire, the couple is looking to hire a well-known celebrity managernamed Rebecca Mostow to make their transition easier.
Mostow previously worked with David and Victoria Beckham when thepair moved to LA back in 2007. The insider dished that Mostow, who also workedwith Seal and Prince, is a perfect fit for the Sussexes and was “highlyrecommended.”

Harry and Meghan have not commented on the reports surrounding Mostow, who also has not said if she will be working with the Sussexes or not.
Where exactly are Prince Harry and Meghan Markle living?
Prince Harry and Meghan moved to LA sometime in March, but nobodyknew where they were staying until now. According to Variety,the Duke and Duchess of Sussex have been shacking up in one of Tyler Perry’smansions in Beverly Hills.
The Sussexes reportedly met Perry through Oprah Winfrey, who is a mutual friend. The property is located in a gated community called Beverly Ridge Estates and is one of only 14 homes in the vicinity.

The mansion sits on 22 acres and boasts 8 bedrooms and 12bathrooms. It is close to 25,000 square feet and was almost purchased by KanyeWest in the early 2000s.
Prince Harry and Meghan are reportedly living in Perry’s home until they find a more permanent residence in the region. As part of their exit deal, the Sussexes will be splitting their time between North America and the United Kingdom.
