A British pensioner has been separated from her Egyptian toyboy because of visa issues.
This week, Iris Jones, 81, said she feels “skint and alone” without her boyfriend who is 45 years her junior.
And it seems Mohamed Ahmed Ibriham is missing Iris just as much.
The 36-year-old took to Facebook to declare his love for the Somerset-based woman.
According to the Mirror, he gushed: "Until the end of my life, my love for you, my dear, my sun and my moon, my queen Iris Mohamdy".
Sadly, it may still be a while before the lovebirds are reunited.
Previously, Iris revealed she won’t be jetting of to see Mohamed in Egypt for a fourth time because of the cost and potential risks to her health.
She told Metro: “I get days when I’m all right and other days when I’m just crying all the time.
“I’m separated from someone I love, it’s so hard. I haven’t got time on my side, his lawyers know that.
“I’ve had to go over there three times and come back without him…
“I can’t go back to Egypt, that country does not suit me.
“It’s too hot, it’s too dusty, I don’t like the food and the fumes from the traffic is absolutely horrendous. Half the cars on the road would be crushed if they were in Britain.”
Even though Iris is lonely without Mohamed, she’s managed to reconnect with her family in recent months.
Her sons Stephen, 54, and Darren, 53, were concerned about the age gap relationship initially.
And these worries were probably fuelled when their mum talked about “feeling like a virgin again” during a segment of ITV’s This Morning.
But as the couple have been dating for months now, Stephen and Darren appear to have come around.
Here's hoping they'll all be able to get together again soon!
