Celebrity SAS star Kerry Katona in agony and Ulrika Jonsson drenched as stars put through their paces by Ant Middleton

KERRY Katona and Ore Oduba feared for their lives during a brutal task on SAS: Who Dares Wins, rescuing a hostage while being tear-gassed.

Kerry said: “I couldn’t get my breath and in my head I could see my children and I’m thinking, ‘I don’t care what happens, my kids are more important than this’. I wanted to get out as quickly as possible.”

Ore said: “I was unable to breathe. My eyes were seizing up, I was on the floor. I didn’t know how to get out, let alone save the hostage.

“I was sat there on all-fours going, ‘Any longer and I’m not going to make it out of here’. That was terrifying. But then you get a slap in the face and told you’ll be fine – and I was.”

They were the only two celebs who did not finish the task, with the likes of Ulrika Jonsson and Wes Nelson emerging bedraggled but with the hostage.

Jake Quickenden called it the hardest thing he's ever done and cheekily joked the gas was like his fiancée's morning breath.

The DS were full of praise for Alexandra Burke and paralympian Aled Davies.

But they had a scathing assessment of Kerry, calling her "confused, out of her depth and unprepared."

Ant summoned her for an interrogation, telling the DS she needed a "rude awakening".
