Sarah Jayne Dunn receiving lots of support from Hollyoaks fans

The Sun revealed that the Mandy Richardson actress, 40, was dismissed from her £120k a year role after refusing to quit stripping on the X-rated OnlyFans website.

Sarah has been stripping off online for several weeks and has received several warnings off bosses over her conduct because of the show’s young audience. The star refused to stop and has now now been asked to stand down from her role, that she first took on in 1996.

But fans of the Channel 4 soap are fuming considering scenes on the show are just as racy as what can get posted on the controversial 18+ network.

One wrote on Twitter: “Hollyoaks have hardly done youth friendly content outside watershed. Examples, the word b***h has been used in a derogatory term several times, there is literally a storyline with cameras in peris bedroom.”

Another said: “@lgbthizzie @Hollyoaks they’re hypocritical! they’ve had multiple nude scenes with MEN, but as long as it’s a man it’s fine???? there’s some misogynistic behaviour happening with the bosses at lime .. someone needs their job role re-evaluate.”

EastEnders: Gray Atkins' list of victims grows

Gray's Atkins' list of victims on the Square continues to grow.

It includes his wife Chantelle who he pushed onto an upturned knife before leaving her to bleed to death while he made it look like an accident.

Later Tina Carter worked out what he had done and confronted him.

He murdered her in cold blood in his living room and disposed of her body – though some fans still think she’s alive and being held captive.

And months later he killed Kush Kazemi to stop Whitney Dean moving to Dubai with him.

Chelsea Fox actress Zaraah Abrahams would LOVE to be an EastEnders bride

Even with a wedding on the cards, Chelsea Fox actress Zaraah Abrahams admitted she's excited at the prospect of becoming an EastEnders bride – if it happens.

    She gushed: "I'm so excited!

"In the Green Room, there are pictures of all the EastEnders brides, and although I see them every day, I can't help but stop and look.

"It would be such an iconic moment if it happened, to be an EastEnders bride – that's a big 'un.

"I loved Tanya Branning's wedding dress because she was so delicate and princess-like, and Martine McCutcheon's as Tiffany Mitchell was pretty lavish, too."

Zaraah, who only joined the cast last year, told Inside Soap: "I went straight to Di Parish [Diane], and said, 'I haven't paid my mortgage off yet!' and she was like 'Don't worry too much – yet!' But I was excited because I knew it would mean some really gritty stuff to come, and I love working with Toby-Alexander Smith [Gray]."

She added: "He's fantastic but what people don't realise is how funny he is. He has such a dry sense of humour."

Denise Welch ‘removed from Hollyoaks set’ after testing positive for Covid

DENISE Welch has revealed she was removed from the Hollyoaks set after testing positive for Covid.

The 63-year-old, who plays Trish Minniver on the Channel 4 soap, slammed the “ridiculous” testing system after she received mixed results from her lateral flow and PCR.

She tweeted:  “Just had covid. Nothing like the bronchitis I had recently which was most ill I’ve ever been. Lost taste & smell with both. At work 10 days ago. Was removed from set & they had me tested. LF & PCR taken at same time. LF was negative, PCR came back positive. Go figure.

“By the way I’m not negating the danger of Covid in some people. I just lost my dad to pneumonia. All horrible virus’. But the testing is ridiculous. And to me all proves how pointless covid passports are.”

The actress, who has been very vocal about being against Covid rules and vaccines for children, went on to claim: “The fact that these tests have not been stopped in nearly 2 yrs is unbelievable. In April 2020, my radiographer cousin told me that in her London hospital people were testing negative when their lungs clearly showed Covid. She was also told she couldn’t say that ‘publicly’.”

Hollyoaks has confirmed that the set has remained open for filming to continue.

Soap stars under ITV's strict ban over endorsing certain products

ITV have banned anything that could bring the company into disrepute, including cosmetic surgery and diet products and “adult entertainment.”

The move allows cast members to post paid advertisements, with the producers’ blessing, in a bid to prevent cast members from quitting the shows because they make more money online.

A TV insider said: “Stars like former Corrie actor Helen Flanagan are inundated with opportunities to promote products on platform including Instagram. And earnings can often dwarf any salary actors get paid on the soaps, meaning it can be more lucrative to  leave the shows to effectively sell goods.

“This is simply a smart way to ensure they can still advertise products while remaining on the shows .But they spell out in black and white what’s deemed unacceptable – as previously it’s been a grey area.”

Matthew Wolfenden & Isabel Hodgins' Emmerdale row (continued…)

One insider said: “The cast had travelled to film what they were calling the ‘Summer Stunt’ — dramatic waterfall scenes that aired on October 19.

“While they were on set a comment was made which unintentionally caused offence, and an argument broke out among some of the cast members.

"This was a massive deal for all of them and obviously everyone was under pressure to make scenes work.

“Emmerdale take these kind of allegations very seriously, and Matthew and Isabel did not film scenes while inquiries were made. It was not a decision they took lightly, as it had huge consequences for the team as they are massive characters. But the bosses felt it was a necessary step to take.

“They investigated the matter fully and are now satisfied that no further action is necessary. The actors are really professional.”

What happened between Matthew & Isabel Hodgins on Emmerdale set?

Their family time comes just days after it was revealed that Emmerdale was rocked by a "very heated" on-set clash between Matthew and Isabel Hodgins, 27, while filming for ITV’s Super Soap Week.

The pair were caught up in a row while filming dramatic waterfall scenes for a blockbuster episode, which aired last month.

Tempers flared off camera and a source said: “It left a lot of those present at the filming feeling uncomfortable. It was a very heated situation.

"Tempers were running very high. It was tense and bosses got to hear about what had gone on very quickly.”

The on-screen couple took a break from filming at Tees Barrage water park in Stockton-on-Tees while bosses made inquiries.

Emmerdale’s Matthew Wolfenden spends the day with family after on-set clash

EMMERDALE star Matthew Wolfenden enjoyed a wholesome Sunday with his family after his on-set clash with co-star Isabel Hodgins.

The actor, 41 – who plays David Metcalfe in the ITV soap – cooked up a storm in the kitchen of their stunning North Yorkshire home yesterday morning.

His wife Charley Webb shared it all on her Instagram Story.

The actress, who has played Debbie Dingle on the hit show since 2002, filmed her husband frying some eggs with Dean Martin's How Do You Like Your Eggs In The Morning playing in the background.

In the next clip Matthew could be seen creating a boiled egg and soldiers dish for their youngest son Ace, two.

Matthew also took to his Instagram to share some sweet footage of Ace and his older brother Bowie, five, doing some colouring in together.

    Cutting ties

Sarah Jayne Dunn has cut ties with Hollyoaks by deleting it from her Instagram after 26 years as Mandy Richardson.

She stopped following Hollyoaks' official social media channels and vice versa after she was axed for selling saucy snaps to fans. The blonde beauty had been earning up to '£7,200 a week' from posting raunchy images on the X-rated website OnlyFans.

When soap bosses found out they they asked her to stop or lose her six-figure salary role as one of the Channel 4 soap's biggest characters. They insisted her raunchy content, in which she strips for punters, was at odds with the show's young audience.

But Sarah claimed: "I'm simply moving my sexier, racier images to another platform. This is a decision I've thought long and hard about. It's about taking back control and confidence and having full power over my choices."

EastEnders viewers fear for Frankie’s life

EASTENDERS fans were left fearing for Frankie Lewis’ life tonight as Nancy Carter took their bitter feud to new low.

Frankie – who is played by Rose Ayling-Ellis in the BBC One soap – filled with panic as her sister locked her in the boot of her new motor. Dad Mick splashed out on a set of wheel to celebrate Frankie passing her driving test.

However, the sweet gesture didn’t go down well with Nancy and her jealousy got the better of her as she attempted to sabotage Frankie’s new gift.

The fiery barmaid – played by Maddy Hill – first put a banana in the exhaust pipe and later covered her car in shaving foam.

Enough was enough and Frankie retaliated by washing Nancy’s white laundry with a red t-shirt.

Danielle Lloyd backs Sarah Jayne Dunn amid OnlyFans row

DANIELLE Lloyd has backed Sarah Jayne Dunn saying joining OnlyFans was "the best decision I ever made".

Sarah, 40, was axed from Hollyoaks after they learned she had been selling raunchy snaps on the adult-only site.

Danielle, 37, waded in on Instagram and said today: "I've just watched a debate on Good Morning Britain about OnlyFans. Obviously I've got an OnlyFans and I made the decision a year ago, I think it's brilliant, probably one of the best decisions I've ever made. There's no reason I wouldn't be on there. I've done lads mags my whole life, that's what my career was based on.

"So I feel really sad for Sarah Jayne because I know she's on a TV show and she's got a lot of young fans, she's not putting anything on there that is explicit, she's not putting anything on there that nobody's seen before.

"She's done all the magazines, she's done all the lads mags herself. So it's just crazy like I don't understand."

Danielle Lloyd backs Sarah Jayne Dunn (continued…)

Danielle continued: "I get why people don't like it but it's not a porn site, people post pictures every day in their underwear and nothing gets said about it.

"These girls get thousands of likes but because they're posting those same pictures on an over 18s site it becomes a problem. It just baffles me.

"Sarah is married with a child – she's old enough to make her own decisions.

"Sorry about the rant this morning I just had to get involved."

The medical student – who is played by actor Sam Retford in the ITV soap – revealed earlier this year that he is living with a life-threatening condition.

Viewers were baffled by Curtis’ recent behaviour after he began acting very cagey about his heart condition.

The boyfriend of Emma Brooker has left fans sceptical as he often tries not to disclose too much information about his illness.

Coronation Street: Anthony Cotton teases 'big storyline' in future

Despite spending the last 18 years on the soap, Antony Cotton said he is still having the time of his life.

He said: “Corrie is like a giant family. It feels nice to go to work with people that you know and love. I’ve known a lot of them for the past 18 years. I adore people there like they’re my own family. For the past 19 years, I’ve never wanted to say goodbye to that.”

Corrie bosses have been forced to scrap a string of storylines due to coronavirus. But now restrictions for TV shows have eased, there are plans to finally get them done.

Antony concluded: “There are stories that we tried to do, but in the end, we couldn’t because of the pandemic. So now they will happen over the next year.

    Explained: Where is Emmerdale filmed?

When Emmerdale first catapulted onto our screens back in 1972, it was filmed in the village of Arncliffe in North Yorkshire.

In 1975, the fictional village moved to West Yorkshire in order to cut production costs and was filmed in another real-life village, Esholt in Shipley.

The exterior scenes of the soap were filmed at Esholt for 22 years but by 1998 local residents had grown tired of the production crew’s presence and the tourists the soap was attracting.

ITV then set up a replica of Esholt on the outskirts of Leeds for external filming.

Interior scenes are shot at ITV’s studio in the city.
