Each morning Kym Marsh and Gethin Jones present the lifestyle magazine show as they keep BBC viewers up to date with the latest news and share advice on a range of subjects. However on Monday, Kym was missing from the BBC studio as it was revealed she was unwell. As a result, former Strictly Come Dancing professional Janette Manrara stepped in to present alongside Gethin.
“Thank you for starting your week with us on Morning Live,” Gethin began. “It’s been a very busy weekend for lots of people.
“You might have heard there’s a new Health Secretary. We’ll find out later what this means for you.
“There’s lots of sport on the telly too. Wales sadly out of the Euros. I text Kym to tell her.
“She hasn’t replied, she’s poorly today so Janette is here. Do you feel my pain?”
Janette replied: “I feel it. It’s okay,” as Gethin remarked: “You didn’t even know what the Euros were last week.”
The Strictly Come Dancing star confessed: “I didn’t know what they were but things move on Gethin.”
“There’s a life outside of football?” a confused Gethin asked.
Janette laughed: “It’s on in our house all the time, Aljaz is a massive fan.”
