The animosity is already aplenty between Cain Dingle (Jeff Hordley) and DI Malone (Mark Womack) in Emmerdale, but it’s about to get a whole lot worse, as the dodgy detective sets in motion a plan that could have devastating consequences for the Dingle icon, as well as for Billy Fletcher (Jay Kontzle).
When Cain first crossed paths will Malone, he made clear who was in charge — underestimating just who he was dealing with. As a result, Malone wasted little time in enlightening him, as he murdered Moira’s (Natalie J Robb) bull, trashed the garage, and threatened his family.
Yes, Malone very much has Cain right where he wants him, and in the coming episodes, he decides to put him in his place once more.
Lucas is nervous about performing in the concert, and Will (Dean Andrews) — who’s secretly preparing to do a job for Malone — can’t help but feel guilty, as he informs Dawn (Olivia Bromley) that he’ll be unable to attend.
Will’s fears what lies ahead, and he’s more nervous than ever when Malone informs him that he’ll be doing the next job alone.
Later, he arrives at the destination of his job and is taken aback to see the scale of the drug order that he’s being told to courier.
However, matters are made worse when he comes to realise that Billy and Cain are being used as decoys to draw police attention away from him. Will tries to warn Billy and Cain, but will he prove successful in doing so?
If not, will Cain be jailed? Will Billy?
