Following his heart bypass, Tim and Sally Metcalfe (Joe Duttine and Sally Dynevor) in Coronation Street have been desperate to er, how do we put this…do the deed…but things haven’t exactly gone their way.
Tim has been suffering from impotence but is using Elaine’s (Paula Wilcox) interfering ways to distract himself from the real problem.
Coming up, things are awkward as Sally tries to broach the subject of their disastrous love making.
Tim refuses to discuss it, leaving Sal annoyed.
As he apologises to Sally, Tim presents her with some flowers, and they enjoy a lovely meal together.
But when Sally suggests an early night, Tim admits he’s worried and embarrassed about his impotence, so Sally assures him she’s happy to settle for a hug.
The next day, Sally urges Tim to book an appointment with Dr Gaddas to discuss his impotence but he refuses.
Will Tim change his mind?
Or will this continue to impact Tim and Sally’s relationship?
