Susanna Reid hit out at her Good Morning Britain co-star Adil Ray after returning to the hit ITV programme after a week off.
The presenter couldn't resit a tongue-in-cheek jab at Adil, 46, after he failed to comment on her new locks.
Revamping her image for the Spring/Summer run of GMB, Susanna, 50, now sports dramatically shorter locks completed with a flurry of blonde highlights.
As Adil introduced the show and that Line Of Duty star Adrian Dunbar who plays Ted Hastings would be appearing for a grilling, Susanna playfully interrupted: "With my new hair…"
Looking stunned, Adil awkwardly replied: "I was coming to that."
Not stopping there, Susanna continued: "You are like one of those blokes aren't you, where someone comes back from the hairdresser and they don't notice any change…"
Trying to defend himself, Adil slitting: "No I was coming to that."
With a smirk on her face, Susanna teased: Adil I am so disappointed."
Continuing her comment about men not noticing women's hair, she added: "And then you're like 'she is funny today, what have I not noticed?'"

Hitting back, Adil replied: "I noticed today in the meeting that you have had highlights, I don't think i have seen those before."
"And lost about four inches," Susanna hissed back.
Softening her stance after Adil praised her new look, Susanna laughed: "Sorry. I slightly pushed you into it."
Teasing her image overhaul on Sunday night, Piers Morgan's former co-star logged into her official Instagram account before uploading a snap of her in the hairdressers.

With a mask on her face, Susanna took a selfie with her old locks – hinting at a bit change.
She captioned the shot: "Hair no longer looks like this! Back GMB tomorrow."
But while Adil may have been slow off the mark in commenting her look, Susanna's fans quickly showered her with praise online.
One supporter wrote: "Love the haircut!! It looks so lovely loving the highlights."
Another added: "Hair looks great Susanna!"
Meanwhile, a third continued: "Beautiful Ms Reid. Welcome back."
