Tiger King is the documentary we never knew we needed, filled with bizarre conspiracies, murder plots and unexpected country music. For all those cool cats and kittens who have watched the entirety of the Netflix show, a mini-series is also on the way which will delve even more into the ongoing feud between Joe Exotic, Carole Baskin and the rest of the big cat community.
According to reports, Saturday Night Live actress and comedian Kate McKinnon is already working on a new mini-series based on the Tiger King documentary and podcast.
But not only will she act as an executive producer on the show, but she will also star in the drama as none other than owner of Big Cat Rescue and Joe Exotic’s nemesis Carole Baskin.
Throughout the Netflix documentary, she is accused of murdering her second husband Don Lewis by feeding him to the tigers at her enclosure – something which she has denied.
The new show will focus on her and Joe but will also feature many of the other real-life figures.

In Tiger King and I, he said: “I still go back to the kid who played Johnny Tsunami [played by Brandon Baker].”
But when McHale suggested comedian and The Masked Singer judge Ken Jeong, he said: “That would be so amazing.”
